Wearing a watch or band and using the touchscreen daily will cause wear and tear and dust accumulation. It's important to clean and maintain all parts of the watch band regularly to prolong its lifespan.
Step 1
Clean the watch body
and screen
After repeated touches, the watch body and screen of the watch and band are prone to collecting fingerprints, dust, sweat stains, and other dirt. Turn off the device first, and then clean it as follows:
  • Use a soft, dry cotton cloth or a soft cotton cloth moistened with a little screen cleaner to wipe the screen.
  • Use a glasses cleaning cloth, soft cotton cloth, or soft towel dipped in water to clean and wipe the surface of the whole body. If it cannot be removed with water, you can dip it in detergent, laundry detergent, laundry soap, toothpaste, or other daily cleaning products to wipe. Then, use a cotton cloth dipped in water to remove the residual cleaning liquid, and wipe it clean with a dry cloth.
Step 2
Wipe the buttons
or the rotating crown
If the device has a leather strap, you can remove the strap, put the buttons/rotating crown under the tap, and rinse with water at 30°C-40°C for about 30 seconds. Then keep turning and pressing the buttons/rotating crown to clean the small gap between the crown and the case. If you don't feel it is rinsed properly, you can clean it 2-3 times.
After washing, dry the watch with the buttons/rotating crown facing downward and shake the watch vigorously to remove excess water. Then, carefully dry the surface and the area around the buttons/rotating crown and the gap between the crown and the case with a soft, lint-free cloth.
Step 3
Cleaning the strap
and daily maintenance
Straps made of different materials require different cleaning and maintenance.
For soft rubber straps
Wipe the wristband/strap with a soft cloth and clean the dirt from the crevices or rinse with clean water and wipe dry. Avoid using any organic solution. For stubborn stains, use a soft-bristled toothbrush to scrub the strap.
   Tips
Please keep the band/watch and skin clean and dry when wearing it daily, and clean sweat stains promptly after exercising.
For metal/ceramic straps
1

Wipe with a soft dust-free cloth dampened in a small amount of water. Use a fine brush and detergent to clean the hard-to-reach areas.
2

It's recommended to clean the straps twice a month. Avoid storing them with hard or sharp objects. After exposure to seawater, wash the strap with clean water and dry it before using it to prevent corrosion.
For leather straps
After the wristband/strap gets dirty or wet, it should be wiped clean with a soft cotton cloth, placed in a ventilated and cool area to dry, and then coated with a layer of leather protectant. For light-coloured straps stained with oil, a soft brush dipped in water can be used for gentle cleaning.
   Tips
1

Avoid exposing the wristband/strap to direct sunlight, and keep it away from flammable materials, acids, and alkaline substances during daily use.
2

Do not use heating equipment like microwave ovens or hair dryers to dry the wristband/strap. Avoid contact with rough or sharp objects, overloaded pressure, long-term bending, tight curling, and refrain from punching holes.
3

To prevent light-coloured straps from being dyed, try to avoid direct contact with dark clothes. In autumn and winter, wipe the wristband/strap with a soft cloth and then apply a layer of Vaseline baby oil for maintenance, repeating this process once a week.
Everyday use and
maintenance
Protect the watch/band
from scratches, corrosion
water and dust
When using the watch/band in daily life, you need to pay attention to two major points:
1. Anti-scratch and anti-corrosion:
To prevent scratches and corrosion, avoid subjecting the watch to serious impacts, falling, or contact with sharp objects like knives and stones, although the dial is made of glass and ceramic, which are hard and resistant to wear.
Additionally, ensure the back of the watch and the charging contacts remain clean and dry before charging. After exercising, promptly wipe off any sweat stains to prevent corrosion.
2. Water and dust resistant:
  • The wristband/watch is not suitable for snorkelling, hot showers, hot springs, saunas (steam rooms), diving, diving, water skiing, and other wading and deep-water activities with high-speed currents.
  • After wearing the watch in water, thoroughly dry it and remove any debris. If a leather or metal strap gets wet, make sure to dry it thoroughly before reattaching it.
  • While the watch is dust resistant in typical environments like living rooms, offices, and storage rooms, it is not suitable for special dust environments.
By regularly checking, cleaning, and maintaining the strategies mentioned above, you can ensure that your wearables always look their best.
