Avoid dropping
Be careful！Try to prevent your phone from falling screen-side down.
Does a foldable phone break easily by accidental dropping? A foldable phone can’t take the one-piece process as a phablet due to the structure, resulting in a weakening in its anti-drop ability. Therefore, the rotating shaft and screen are more easily to get damaged when a foldable phone falls. Despite HONOR’s constant improvement of anti-drop ability, please try to avoid dropping your phone.
If you accidentally drop your phone, please go to the nearest HONOR Authorised Service Center for professional detection to ensure that your phone works properly.

Avoid sand
Please refrain from folding the screen if the phone emits an abnormal noise.
Due to its special structure, the rotating hinge leaves some gaps for the phone to fold easier. Anti-dust foam cannot completely keep sand out of your inner screen and rotating hinge gaps, which may bring damage to the screen. Please protect your phone from sand in windy weather.
However, you can feel assured to use the phone when the weather is not windy and dusty.
* Safety tip: Do not fold your phone if it makes an abnormal sound or runs into a rotating problem, which may be caused by sand in the inner screen. Please go to the nearest HONOR Authorised Center for professional help.

Avoid metal
Check when the screen won’t close.
The magnet on the edge of the foldable phone’s inner display may attract small magnetic particles, nails, etc., which would damage the inner display easily. Please do not put your phone together with keys, access cards, coins, or other metal materials in your pocket.
Keep your foldable phone away from metal materials, and explore more fun.
* Tip: Unfold the display and check if there is any foreign object between the screens if the screen won’t close.

Avoid coldness
Do not force fold /unfold the screen at an extremely low temperature.
The foldable screen is layered with dozens of thin “films”, with each “film” filled with semi-dynamic optical adhesives. Please try not to open or close the screen outdoors in a cold winter. Remember to use the outer display first.
It’s good to “keep out the cold”, but normal use is absolutely fine. Most mobile phones would not be used in extremely cold environments.
* Safety tip: Please do not force open when encountering a problem. You can open and close smoothly after you take your phone to a heated room for a while.
