Avoid repeated failed password attempts
After you enter a wrong password, you have 5 attempts to unlock the phone.
If all passwords are incorrect, the phone will display a message of "Please
try again in 1 minute" or "Please try again in 30 seconds";
Then you can try 3 times. The phone will lock you out again if all attempts
fail. The lockout time will be lengthened as you try more, 1 minute, 10
minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, 1.5 hours, and so on.
(The lockout time will vary according to the unlocking method and phone
model, please refer to the actual condition.)
Restore to factory settings
If you still can't remember your password, you will have to restore your
device to its factory settings.
* All data on your phone will be erased and cannot be restored by doing so.
Instructions:
1. Power off your phone. Press and hold the Power and Volume up buttons
until your phone displays the HONOR logo.
2. Press the Volume up and down buttons or touch the screen to select Clear
data > Factory data reset, then enter "yes" to confirm.
3. After your device is restored to its factory settings, it will go back to
the Recovery screen. Touch Restart to restart your device.
* If the activation screen is displayed after restarting your device, it
indicates that you have enabled Find Device. You can access the system by
entering your HONOR ID and password.
