Definition of IPX8
Meets the IPX8 protection level requirements in IEC 60529:2013. Indicates protection against continuous immersion. Under normal temperature and pressure, when the housing is temporarily immersed in 1.5 meters of water for 30 minutes.
Note:Although the device is splash and water resistant, it is not recommended to immerse the device in water. You can use it during exercise (exposed to sweat) and short periods of rain.
IPX8 waterproof is not applicable to the following usage scenarios
Swimming, snorkeling, diving or other activities involving prolonged immersion in water.
Showering, hot springs, saunas (steam rooms) and other activities conducted in high temperature and high humidity environments.
Diving, water skiing, surfing, motorized water sports (such as speedboats, jet skis, etc.), car washing, rafting and other activities involving contact with high-speed water flow.
Other improper use behaviors and scenarios that may place the device in water more than 1.5 meters deep or immerse the device in water for more than 30 minutes.
Wet Hand Touch Function
Wet hand touch can improve the touch experience of the phone screen in scenarios such as accidental splashes and wet hands from rain.
How to enable wet touch function:
this feature is enabled by default and no need to additional operation.
*The phone is not professionally water resistant. It is splash-proof and water-resistant under normal use. It has been tested under controlled laboratory conditions and reaches the IPX8 level in accordance with IEC 60529 (international) standards. Splash, water, and dust resistances are not permanently effective, and the protective performance may decrease due to daily wear and tear.
