While watching a video, you suddenly receive a message and want to reply, but your device freezes. When shopping online, you want to check the product details, but after tapping a few times, there's no response. These occasional minor lags after prolonged use of a tablet can affect your user experience. Don't worry, six solutions are here to help you say goodbye to lagging and enjoy smooth device usage.
Clean Up the apps running in the background
If your tablet is running too many apps simultaneously, it may get stuck due to insufficient memory. Just enter the task interface and clear the background apps. Depending on the system you're using, there are a number of different ways to navigate:
Use virtual navigation
Click

on the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen, click

and clear.
Click the arrow to view more
Use gestures to navigate
Swipe from the bottom edge of the screen and pause, click

and clear.
Click the arrow to view more
Use hover navigation
Tap the navigation button and swipe left and right to display the most recently used apps, click

and clear.
Clean up storage space
If the tablet has been used for a long time and download many apps, a large number of unnecessary files may accumulate, affecting system performance. It is recommended to periodically clean up the storage space as follows.
Open the System Manager, tap Cleanup to view the data that can be cleaned up, select to delete useless data to ensure sufficient memory storage.
Restart the Tablet to Clear the Cache
If your tablet has been on for an extended period, a large number of cache files may accumulate, causing lagging. Restarting your tablet can help clear these cache files and ensure a smooth user experience.
Charge Your Device
in Time
When Power Saving Mode is turned on, or the tablet's battery life drops below 10% , the system will degrade the tablet's performance to ensure battery life, resulting in stuttering. Please turn off the Power Saving Mode and the tablet can be recharged in time to keep it fully charged.
Go to Settings > Battery and turn off the Power Saving Mode.
Ensure the Stability of the Network
When the network signal is weak, the internet speed is slow, or there are many people using the network nearby, apps that require an internet connection may experience lagging. It is recommended to use a stable Wi-Fi network or move to an area with better signal coverage.
To view real-time network speed, please go to Settings, search and click to check Show network speed.
Restore Factory Settings
If the lagging issue doesn't improve significantly, consider resetting your tablet to factory settings to see if it restores normal operation.
*Remember to back up your important data before performing a factory reset.
Go to Settings > System & Updates > Reset Tablet > RESET TABLET;
Enter the lock screen password, the tablet will clear the data and automatically restart. After recovery, the tablet will automatically boot.
