Annoying lines appear on your phone screen?
Here are some steps to get your display
back to normal.

Check the screen protector
Replace it promptly if necessary
The first step is to check whether the colored lines, bright lines, dark lines, horizontal lines and vertical lines on the screen are scratches of the external screen protector. If they are scratches, please go to the nearby HONOR Authorized Service Center to replace the new screen protector.
*The inner screen of the phone has exclusive protector. Please do not tear or paste other protector by yourself, otherwise it may damage the screen and affect the warranty.
*It is recommended to confirm the availability of screen protectors with service centers in advance.
Take Scrolling Screenshots
to Locate the Fault
If the lines aren't scratches on the screen protector, you can identify the issue by taking screenshots or recording the current screen to confirm the source of the problem.
There are abnormal lines on the screenshots.
· This indicates a software issue.
Try restarting your device to resolve it:
In most cases, rebooting your phone can restore the screen to normal. If the lines persist after restarting, it's possible that a system or app setting was accidentally triggered. It is recommended that you continue to check the relevant software.
· Disable the Pointer Location feature:
If you have enabled Developer Mode and the Pointer Location feature, you may see glowing trails when you swipe your finger across the screen, and blue cross-hair lines may appear where your finger touches the screen.
To restore the screen to normal, please go to Settings and search for the Pointer Location to disable this feature.
Click the arrow to view more
*Enable Developer Options:
Settings > About Phone > Tap the Build number seven times > Enter the lock screen password to access Developer Options.
Click the arrow to view more
*Developer Options are intended for testing by developers. They are not necessary for everyday use and may cause issues if misconfigured. It is not recommended for users to enable Developer Options. (Turn off Developer Mode by disabling the Developer Options.)
*If you do not find the Pointer Location, it means Developer Options have not been enabled, and there is no need to investigate this further.
If no abnormal lines appear in the screenshot, but they are still visible on the screen.
· This indicates a hardware issue. Repair hardware faults on the device:
Hardware damage can cause the screen to display fixed abnormal lines. It is recommended to back up important data in advance and promptly visit the nearest HONOR Authorized Service Center for device inspection and repair.
If the methods above still can not resolve the abnormal lines of the screen, please go to My HONOR App to contact online customer service for professional help or choose postal repair.
